About
Doing Better — Together
Synthesis Behavior is a behavior analytic consultancy committed to bridging the gap between parents and professionals and advancing better, more neuroinclusive ABA practices.
As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and the founder of Synthesis Behavior, my mission is to foster a supportive and inclusive environment where individuals reach their full potential by prioritizing autonomy and quality of life through meaningful programming, compassionate instruction, and enhanced collaboration between parents and providers.
I consider it my ethical duty to educate and advocate for support that embraces neurodiversity. As such, I approach behavior analytic services through a neurodivergent-affirming lens by developing strengths-based, person-centered programs that promote meaningful skill acquisition. This philosophy reflects my commitment to providing individualized, evidence-based support that prioritizes compassion, dignity, and respect while promoting and respecting a learner's self-determination, which aligns with the ethical standards outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
I actively engage learners in goal selection to ensure programs reflect each individual's needs and interests. I also utilize assent-based learning, an instructional approach that facilitates the development of new skills and nurtures self-advocacy. By giving learners the choice to participate or opt out of interventions, I empower them to shape their learning experiences and uphold my dedication to compassionate service delivery.
